Ms. Sandhya Banda is a certified Ananda Yoga teacher and a certified meditation teacher from Ananda Washington. Ms. Banda has been conducting sessions for all ages from different backgrounds in United States and India. Currently, she is involved with Ananda Hyderabad and leads meditation, yoga and related workshops. Previously, she was engaged as a legal professional.
Krishna Deep is a student of yoga and life. He studied under Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. PY is the author of the world famous book "Autobiography of a Yogi". Krishna has been practising and sharing the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga for 17 years now. He is academically affiliated with University of Pennsylvania (school of social Policy and practice), and the Indian school of business, Bharti institute of public policy. He currently works with an NGO to improve the water access in rural India.
Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj is working as Chief Delivery Officer at 8th Element. He has over 23 years of experience in Software and Product Development. He has worked with Fortune 50 organizations like Microsoft, Optum, Anthem, HCL Technologies, 3i Infotech. He has done his Masters in Computer Applications and is also a certified YOGA teacher.
Due to his passion in scientific spirituality he has been conducting multiple seminars in the corporate world, schools and colleges on various aspects of scientific spirituality, YOG, Holistic health and Personality refinement. He is associated with DSVV (Dev Sanskriti Vishvidyalaya), for his spiritual research and guidance. He is actively involved in leading various activities of Divine India Youth Association (DIYA). He is also associated with organizations like Art of Living, Isha Foundation, Youth For Sewa, Gayatri Parivar for various social activities.
Exploring the Neurological Wonders of Meditation

Meditation has often been studied as a spiritual mind-body practice that has shown promising impact on Brain and Behaviour across illness-to-wellness spectrum. During this talk I hope to highlight the fact that Meditation is a universal human ability, which when goes maladaptive causes suffering. The neuroscience behind day-to-day meditative process will be examined alongside those seen in practitioners of various mind-body practices. Some of the insights from studies conducted on proficient meditators at NIMHANS during wake and sleep, will be shared. The talk will also highlight the need to rethink some of the neuroscience concepts and approaches, such that the promising impact of meditation can be understood and be applied.
